Notices and counter-notices · last updated 20 October 2026

What this covers

Ledger keeps text read from our customers’ own public pages, the AI answers we collect, and the fixes we write. If you think something stored or shown in Ledger copies your work without permission, tell us and we’ll take it down while we look into it.

Sending a notice

Include all of this:

  1. Your signature, typed or handwritten.
  2. The work you say was copied.
  3. What in Ledger you say copies it, and where it is. A link helps.
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and email.
  5. A statement that you believe, in good faith, that the use isn't allowed by the owner, their agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the copyright or are allowed to act for whoever does.

Knowingly false claims can make you liable for damages, so check before you send.

Where to send it

Email hello@ledgeranalytics.app.

If your material was taken down

We’ll tell you, and you can send a counter-notice to the same address with:

  1. Your signature, typed or handwritten.
  2. What was removed, and where it was before.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or because it was misidentified.
  4. Your name, address, and phone number.
  5. A statement that you accept the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for your address (or, outside the US, any district where Ledger Analytics can be found), and will accept service from whoever sent the original notice.

We pass it to whoever sent the notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they’ve gone to court, we put the material back 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe copyright, when the circumstances call for it.
